One of the biggest mistakes that a boxer can make is ignoring any type of injury. A relatively minor medical issue can quickly spiral out of control, and that includes dental injuries. If a tooth is knocked out, you must immediately head to a local dentist. An experienced dentist should be able to reattach the tooth or install dental implants. You should also contact a doctor if you notice any cognitive problems such as speech difficulties or memory loss.
Focus on Your Diet and Recovery
The habits that you form outside of the gym are going to be just as important as your training. In addition to getting as much sleep as possible every night, you should also stick to an impeccable diet. Your diet needs to include plenty of healthy fats and protein if you want to maintain your energy levels. You should also consume complex carbohydrates that will give you long-term energy throughout the day.
