L’Oréal Men Expert teams up with Movember to help change the face of men’s health
With its philosophy of never settling for anything less than expert care in mind, L’Oréal Men Expert
is taking a stand this November and pledging its support of the Movember Foundation,
in turn inspiring men to grow and groom their moustaches to raise funds and awareness for men’s health.
Until Nov. 30, 2018, L’Oréal Paris will donate $1* from every BarberClub pack (SRP $19.99) sold to the Movember Foundation. To kick-start the month, men are encouraged to shave their faces clean and resist the allure of a razor and use L’Oréal Men Expert’s newest BarberClub line – its first grooming range inspired by barber know-how for expert moustache and beard care throughout the month.
Through its BarberClub range, L’Oréal Paris aims to reflect the spirit of an actual barber club where men not only come together for grooming but also engage in conversations that make a difference.
So how should you care for your ‘stache? L’Oréal Men Expert BarberClub has provided a Movember routine in two simple steps for expert clean, care and styling. Amplified with organic cedarwood essential oil, designed to nourish skin and hair for long-lasting comfort, BarberClub is an essential to your grooming routine, especially when your moustache and beard reach its peak by the end of Movember.
Starting with the 3-in-1 Wash to cleanse while freeing the skin of dirt and impurities, it intensely nourishes skin and conditions the moustache and beard for that ‘best in class’ look all day long. This limited-edition pack also comes with a free beard styling tool to help with even application. The Styling Cream is the second and last step in your Movember grooming routine. This cream helps with moustache and beard perfection, making it ideal for all-day beard control and hairstyle definition.
“As a global leader in men’s grooming, L’Oréal Men Expert is also committed to increasing awareness on important issues that affect men around the world. We have a responsibility to break down barriers and empower men to talk about their health. The Movember Foundation has shown great dedication to driving this positive change, which ultimately makes for a natural and successful brand partnership,” said Milan Mladjenovic, General Manager, L’Oréal Paris Canada.
“For over a decade, thousands of Canadians join us every year to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention, funding over 1,200 projects worldwide and changing the face of men’s health,” said Karli Kirkpatrick, Movember Foundation. “We’re so pleased to continue our partnership with L’Oréal Men Expert. Together, we further our joint mission in ensuring men start conversations, take action and have an impact on their health.”
From the Movember Foundation’s humble beginnings, the movement has gone from 30 moustaches to over five million globally, raising the necessary funds and awareness for the continued fight against prostate and testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention amongst men. L’Oréal Men Expert and the Movember Foundation together are committed to helping men engage in their health to live happier, healthier and longer lives.
